How We Research Listings and Prices

VetMeds Directory organizes dated evidence so visitors can identify pharmacies to contact about an existing veterinary prescription. Research labels describe supporting material; they are not veterinary review, accreditation or a guarantee of pharmacy quality or licensure.

Pharmacy identity and medication offerings

We retain official pharmacy websites, relevant contact details and specific product or service pages. Medication relationships require evidence for the named medication. A pharmacy’s general list of preparation forms is not applied automatically to every medication. Ambiguous identities, combination products and unsupported forms remain separate research questions.

State shipping is separate evidence

Coverage categories distinguish an explicit state statement, conditional service, a broad nationwide or multistate claim, unknown information and documented non-service. Unknown does not mean available or excluded. A source saying a pharmacy serves a state does not independently verify its license, or establish shipment of every product to every address.

What a price means

A configured observation records an identified preparation, strength or concentration, form and quantity. An advertised starting notice records the pharmacy’s stated minimum offer without inventing a matching prescription configuration. We keep one-time prices separate from coupon, membership, introductory and subscription conditions. Unknown shipping, fees or tax are not zero; a medication-only amount is not a delivered total.

Dates, refreshes and unavailable prices

Every price has a source-check date and expiry date. An amount is withheld after expiry or when its approval or parent eligibility no longer supports display. Stored research may therefore exceed the number of publicly displayable prices. The pharmacy listing and available official product link remain useful. If public specifications, price access or product identity cannot be established, the site displays “Pricing not available—check pharmacy for your prescription.” A later refresh requires an actual source check; installation does not renew dates.

The directory does not supply dosing advice, certify clinical equivalence or claim veterinary review.
